kuna 3,

I may not have won a PO spot, but I got something even better - the time and opportunity to meet all of you. So thank you all. Thank you for your time and commitment to helping the world around us, and thank you for the kindness you’ve shown me over the past few days.

This is Maddy Braun, formally signing off.

P.S. congrats to the 2027 kuna 3 POs!! taken in Crown Plaza Louisville Kentucky by @maddyb.3

kuna 3 I CANNOT THANK YOU ENOUGH

If you told yesterday Maddy that today Maddy had made it past primaries, she would’ve hardly believed it. As a girl from a smaller delegation, it isn’t easy to even stand a chance in the election. But, here we are! And it is all thanks to you guys!! I appreciate each and every one of you so much!! THANK YOU!

To my fellow po candidates; no matter what the outcome was tonight, I admire you so much. I have never met such kind, intelligent, caring, and brave people. You guys are the best, and I hope to stay in touch.

The amount of hard work and preparation I saw today was truly incredible. It is so inspiring to see everyone working so hard to help others in need. YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST!!

If you haven’t met me yet, please say hi!! Thank you all, and when you’re voting tomorrow, remember: She’s the key, vote Maddy B!!!🔑✨🗳️ taken in Crown Plaza Louisville Kentucky by @maddyb.3

Is it even a good Y conference if the fire alarm doesn’t go off?

Jokes aside, you are amazing kuna 3. From the amount of work you guys poured into your world expo exhibits, to the amount of research you’ve done to improve the lives of the people around the world as NGOs, resolution sponsors, security council members, or ICJ members, I am truly inspired by each and every one of you. I loved meeting all of you! If you see me around, please say hi!!

And to my fellow PO candidates - I can’t think of anybody more deserving of a PO spot than you guys. You’re kind, you’re intelligent, you’re brave, and above all, you’re taking initiative. I truly wish we could all just serve together as one big PO team!! No matter the what the outcome of this conference may be, I will forever be grateful for you guys and the friendships we’ve already formed.

See you tomorrow kuna 3!! Make sure to keep your eyes peeled for me giving pro speeches, and remember: She’s the key, vote Maddy B!!🔑✨ taken in Crown Plaza Louisville Kentucky by @maddyb.3

HEY KUNA 3!! I’m so excited to tell you about my SERVICE PROJECT!!✨

For my service project, I collected four 39-gallon trash bags worth of litter from the Lake Cumberland shore and roadside. Functional transportation and environmental health is super important, so I’m so happy I could do this small bit to help!!

I cannot wait to meet you all; kuna’s only six days awayyy! And remember: She’s the key, vote Maddy B!!🔑🌟 taken in Lake Cumberland Fishing Creek by @maddyb.3

Hi guys!! My name is Maddy Braun and I’m so excited to be a candidate for Presiding Officer at KUNA3! This will be my fourth Y conference and I could not be more thrilled! I have made so many friends through the Y, and I can’t wait to make more.

What I love most about the Y is how it brings people together. If given the opportunity to serve as a PO, I would aim to make sure every delegate feels heard, prepared, and respected on the floor. Clear procedure, fair debate, and an environment where everyone can succeed are things I really value.

I come from a small delegation, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything else. The friendships that have formed, the memories we’ve made, and the supportive environment of my Y-club are things that are irreplaceable. That’s what has led me to love the Y so much! I’ll see you all soon, and remember, “She’s the key, vote Maddy B!”🔑✨ by @maddyb.3
