Yesterday we stumbled across something really special in New York called The Strangers Project, a space filled with thousands of anonymous, handwritten stories from people sharing real moments from their lives. Some were heartbreaking, some hilarious, some quietly profound.

Reading them reminded me how powerful it is when people feel seen and heard. It made me think of how much emotion and depth we all carry, often silently, and how connected we really are, even as strangers.

I’ve lost people I love to the kind of pain that’s hard to speak about. Grief that lingers in the quiet moments. Being in that room, surrounded by so many raw and honest stories, felt like a reminder that none of us are truly alone in what we carry.

I ended up writing my own story and leaving it there too. It was incredibly therapeutic, just letting it live on paper and float among the thousands of others. And maybe, just maybe, someone will read mine one day and feel a little less alone. by @maddybellll

She beat me to the appreciation post, but it’s my turn to brag about her now.

I am so unbelievably proud of the woman you are, Ry. I think one of the things I admire most about you is that when you set your mind to something, you just make it happen. You have this insane ability to take an idea, throw yourself into it and actually create something from it, and I’m constantly in awe of how creative and determined you are.

Watching you and Bella bring another Coochie Cabaret to life and seeing what you’ve built together makes me so proud. You are so fucking talented, and I hope you realise how special it is to be someone who can not only have the ideas, but actually follow them through and turn them into something people get to experience.

I genuinely believe you’re going to make such an incredible producer, work in production, creative direction, or whatever the hell you end up deciding to put your mind to next, because that’s just who you are. Once you care about something, you give it everything. The US is going to be so lucky to have you. I’m so excited to see what you do, what you create, and where this next part of your life takes you.

I love you more than anything, and I am endlessly proud of you.
