CHAMP CHAT is back with EPISODE 11! ✨

💙💚📣🛎️🏆

EPISODE 11: RIVALRY & RESPECT

Rivalry can be powerful. It can push us, challenge us, and bring out the very best in us — when it’s rooted in RESPECT.

Join host Celia Kiogima alongside Makiah Francis, Ashley Evans, Sofia Tepper, and Madelyn Denman for an honest conversation about rivalry in the cheerleading and STUNT world and how we can use competition to make ourselves, and our sport, better!

In this episode, we CHAT about:

• How healthy rivalry can raise the standard for everyone. Rivalry should bring out the best in you, not the worst.

• Competing fiercely while still respecting the athletes, coaches, and programs across the mat.

• The difference between wanting to WIN and wanting someone else to lose.

• How social media has changed the way rivalry looks and feels in our sport.

• Why celebrating the success of others doesn’t take away from your own.

Champion STAFF 40 comes together from rival teams to share a passion for our sport! To better the athletes, the people, and each other! Hear from them… Because rivalry should bring out the BEST in all of us.

🎙️ Airing Tuesday, September 8th!

I am SO excited to officially announce my commitment to continue my academic and athletic career at Alma College! I am incredibly grateful to Coach Michelle for giving me the opportunity to cheer at the next level, and to all of my coaches who have helped shape me into the athlete I am today. A special thank you to @laurajkast for opening my eyes to the Scots 😉🫶🏼. I am forever thankful for the friendships I’ve built both on and off the mat through this sport, and I thank God every day for Grandville Cheer and everything the last 4 years have given me. To my family, thank you for your endless love and support throughout this journey. It truly means everything to me. I can’t wait to be a SCOT for the next four years! ❤️🤍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 by @maddydenman.cheer
