09-19-2002.
I’m so grateful for all the lessons I’ve learned. This year pushed me in ways I never expected. Stretched me beyond what I thought I could handle. I’m growing in ways I could’ve never imagined. Since this video and several others were taken down from the @ou_usm page by the advisor over USM, and subsequently deleted from my own page, I’m reposting them here. This years cabinet worked hard. I worked hard. And while some are working overtime to erase the efforts of last year’s cabinet and remove my presence from the platform. That’s okay I have my own platform.

To every young leader, especially young women: don’t be discouraged when others try to discredit or silence you. Count it as an honor, it often means you’re doing something right. Stay clothed in humility and love. by @maddymini

This degree is more than a credential, it is a testimony. A testimony that I’m still standing. That I still have joy. Still have energy. Still have confidence. And, despite the circumstances I’ve endured, still have love for my university. Thankful for the village of people who have supported me. 4 years has gone by so fast. Can’t wait to see what the future holds.
