these past 6 months, i have changed my whole concept around health & fitness. i finally started to find ways to start to feel comfortable & confident in my body.

these are the changes my body has went through over the 6 months. from gaining weight & muscle. to still getting strong & losing weight. all by eating more & lifting heavier then i ever had before. i am so proud of myself & how far i have come.

seeing ur body change over time is just amazing. my body has changed for the better. but honestly it has been all that easy. it’s daunting & hard work. it is hard in you mentally some days i’m not going to lie. sometimes i see the change & im happy. & sometimes i see change & i feel self conscious. it’s just part of the process. you just won’t see instant results. it’s just the hard truth. u have to believe in urself & continue.

i went from bulking to cutting & now i’m going back to steady bulking for the next few months. before i started this journey, i was the girl afraid to gaining weight & almost put a fear around food & fitness. but, reality it wasn’t getting easier. until i started to make a change. now i started to find a passion for finding a healthy balance & helping others find that for themselves.

this is ur sign. don’t give up if u don’t see results instantly. put in the work & be patient. work for u & only u. keep going. cause ur baddie. love maddy;) by @maddyrenefit

hey guys ! little update on my fitness & heath journey. i have been working the hardest that i can, but i have been struggling. working out was my priority. right now it’s not. i have been so busy at school. i have been just trying to focus on my diet & nutrition instead of just strength training. i just haven’t had that much time. i’ve been having a hard time going to the gym 4 times a week like i originally planned. but im glad to say i have been still seeing results by sticking to my macros.
i have been in a balanced cut for about 2 months now. it have been getting difficult while stick with a routine. i am learning to be patient & understand that these things take time as a college student. i just want to be honest on here & tell ya how i feel. we r learning to be patient & good things will come to us. don’t give up on urself just be easy on urselfšŸ˜™ good things take time<3

also ur girl is working on getting certified in marco nutritions by this winter ;) updates to come by @maddyrenefit

i’m still the same girl but with a different mindset.šŸ’–

i am finally becoming educated and more knowledgeable of health & fitness industry. i am working on learning as much as possible on this journey. i am going through all my progress pictures & finding that i look very different. no. they weren’t the results i had in mind 100%. but they still are shocking & i am proud of the progress i made over the 3 months.

tbh weighing myself was hitting my mental so i decided to stop doing that & just base my progress on pictures. & i’m am proud of getting to this point knowing how set boundaries for my happiness & confidence level.

remember to take care of urself. look back & just look how far u have come.😌 by @maddyrenefit

i can’t believe it only one more month left.
my rules for this program these past 3 months:
- i needed to enjoy the journey
- prioritize nutrition & macros
- eat the correct amount of protein (biggest issue on the weekends)
- follow my workout program - whether that’s a split of 4 or 6 different workouts a week
- work on hitting those prs
- limit alc to 1 to 2 drinks (just felt like challenging myself this summer)
- drink a gallon of water a day

i have been doing pretty good with staying on track with program. but i give myself a break when i feel like my body needs it. i take a rest day (no cardio) if that’s what my body needs. & of course i would treat myself to anything i was craving. my plan this summer was to work on myself & find balance. i have been lifting so heavy & im so shocked. i am not so sore all the time cause i’m fueling my body with all the correct amount of protein. this journey i have been on has taught me so many things. & i can’t wait to share the final results.

alright this is long time coming but here it is. i am only a little over a month done with my challenge. it has been a fucking ride let me tell u. this summer i promised myself that i work hard on myself & my body. i wanted to feel confident in the gym & the kitchen. so i decided to get serious & work on program everyday till the end of summer. my main goal was to build muscle & start bulking.

in the first few weeks i gain a lot more
weight than i anticipated which tbh was a little scary. but, that extra weight turned into muscle when i started hit more & more prs each week. i have never felt a more strong in my entire life. gaining weight is okay. that was hard for me to get at first that ur body with fluctuate over time. i have been eating over 2000 calories everyday and have been treating myself when i feel like it.

it all about balance baby. we all need to remember that. it’s summer so feed that bikini bod & get those gains girl. instead of going on that walk on the treadmill take that hot girl walk. if u don’t feel like tracking those marcos today, then don’t. take a break because u deserve it. Little do you know that one day or a week will not hinder ur progress that u made over the years. find ur balance that fits ur lifestyle.
