I got to design and create this mural for @ssbdfest and @creationstationssbd

Wanted to thank @sunnysamart my art wife for always trusting me with the vision. Shout out to the creation station team of volunteers that contributed to the paint process, cutting out shapes, assembly, and light installation. I could not have made this come to life without them. Shout out to @inspire.viz for helping me laser cut the smaller shapes.

As I grow as an artist I am learning to think more critically about the design process. I asked myself, how can I create a design that can be modular for easily transportation and scalable. Working in 1 ft x 1 ft increments made it was easier to translate from sketch to full size.

Looking forward to more 3d murals in the future!

Catalina cast a spell on us and we couldn’t help but fall in love. I couldn’t think of a better place to welcome our resident mermaid into her 33rd spin around the sun. She is living proof that magic is alive and well. @metal_mercorgi you are loved by so many. taken in Catalina Island by @maddysev

My mom worked her ass off her entire life. I was actually completely oblivious of gender stereotypes until later on because she is anything but traditional. If you know her… you are familiar with the vibe of dominance that radiates off her.

She told me her dream has always been to buy a cherry red 1969 Ford Mustang. Last year it miraculously appeared, for sale on the same road as my childhood home. So, she made that dream happen for herself.

My dream is to create beautiful things with beautiful people. My mom has always convinced me that there is no reason why my dreams shouldn’t come true, but I would have to make it happen for myself.

Nobody else could understand and capture this vision like my extraordinary cousin @gigidunnphoto did. At 10 years old we were staging photo shoots in this house. Why stop now ?

Making things happen means taking the risk and choosing to follow my artistry in every direction possible. In this moment it is embodied through my new photography project called @haus.ov.mad
