A collection of me at 23

Well kids, here’s your mom at 23.

She got cooler. Got hotter. Got kinder. Got tougher. Got freer. Got wilder.

She loved hard. She laughed loudly. She listened to a lot of her favorite music. She lived.

This was the year she died and came back to life again.

But don’t worry, she’ll definitely be doing even cooler shit by the time y’all arrive.

Happy Birthday to Hobi! 🤍

A decade of Hobs.

Words truly cannot be put into place to describe just how much you mean to me. Talk about a soul dog. I am the luckiest girl alive to know you, and I think everyone who knows you understands what a privilege it is to have Hobi as a friend.

You are the greatest companion I have ever had in my lifetime. God brought you to us in perfect timing, Hobi, and the world has been brighter with you in it ever since.

You are thee most intelligent, goofiest, moodiest, most beautiful, loving, sweetest boy. Calling you a “dog” almost feels like an insult because you are so much more than that. A lover, never a fighter. A best friend. A companion unlike any other.

It is one of the greatest honors of my life to grow up with you, Hobi.

Ten years of walks. Ten years of loving everyone you meet. Ten years of being a friend to all. Ten years of listening to Chris Stapleton together. Ten years of a personality that could never be replicated. And ten years of acquiring more nicknames than any one boy should probably have, Hobs, Bert, Hobert, Dobs … just to name a few.

I have truly never met a dog quite like you, and I know I never will.
