Can you tell I yearn for Renn Faire season?!

I realized that I didn’t have ANY pirate art hanging in my office and simply needed to remedy that.

So, as a birthday present to myself, I decided to have my Renn Faire pirate-persona (Captain Gemma Stone) rendered. 🏴‍☠️

For my first commissioned piece of art ever, it did NOT disappoint!

The colors are so rich and vibrant!
The likeness and confidence captured!
THE DETAILS?!?! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!!

Karoline packed in so many details — my rapier, my jewelry, my pink 3D printed pistol, my nails!!! I am simply awe-struck at this rendition.

Adorned in my pirate grab is my favorite and, honestly, most-confident version of myself. So, I’m thrilled that my first piece of pirate art will, not only be a reminder of on of my favorite places to be, but a reminder to embody this energy and confidence ALWAYS.

🍓🏴‍☠️ Strawberry Pirate might be my final evolution
Got the crew together to go to PA Ren Faire this past weekend and had a blast.
I wish I could swing more than one trip a season because it’s so hard to fit the shows, performances, shopping, AND socializing all in one visit.

Loved seeing friends and saying hi to folks!
Faire days are my favorite!!!

Found a true home in Hobbiton.
HUGE shout out to @makinghannah for bringing me along on a magical adventure to @thebrandywinefestival 🥔🎪🍻

I had never attended any event like this and I am profoundly changed after the experience. Made many wonderful memories and connected with many lovely hobbits along the way. What a journey.

🍓🏴‍☠️ Sometimes the best full-fit shot you get is the one you take in the parking lot. Went to MD RF as part of a beautiful crew of berry buccaneers. Will absolutely be making more appearances as a swashbuckling strawberry. S/o to the other cuties on the crew!

heck AI, pay real artists

I wanted a specific look for my illustrations this time for my Avalon pattern. Think art nouveau to go with the fantasy and whimsy of the next design. I also wanted more body representation and I knew @gargoyle.pastures was the right artist to hire. They have amazing experience working with many different body types and POC skin colors. That second part comes more into play later. by @made.by.mirandaa

Our adventuring party needs to save the others, and now we’re ready for it ⚔️ Let the quest begin!

This photoshoot and creative sesh, with these fine adventurers, left me completely blissed out 😊 I had so much fun shooting this little, tiny, mini fantasy short film with them, and I’m already so excited to do more creative things like this in the future.
