EK had the genius idea to repurpose an abstract piece of art for Killian’s birthday gift and I loved getting to bring her idea to life. Happy birthday Killian!!!

i got to do an amazing workshop put on by @sarah_arace_artist and i had so much fun! We were challenged to paint a part of ourselves that we appreciate or like, which isn’t something we always think about. I chose to paint my mole because it used to be an insecurity, but now i love it!

it’s really hard to paint yourself, but it was a really cool challenge and im so proud of how it turned out! i’m also so grateful i got to be a part of this ☺️ by @madeby_chlo

A few weeks ago I visited Sarah in Cape Cod! Among the many things that filled our weekend, she planned a little paint and sip for us by the beach—how thoughtful is that??? We both painted the beach landscape and it was a blast. Not to mention, this was Sarah’s first landscape painting and she KILLED it.

The next day we found the @emilylexstudio watercolor workbooks at a little shop and decided we hadn’t reached our painting fill for the weekend. Highly recommend!

I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention that Sarah and EK’s grandmother was an incredibly talented artist, whose work I deeply admire! She did everything, from impressionist landscape paintings to hand painted knobs and tiles, and much more. I spent the weekend surrounded by her paintings and crafts and left feeling very grateful and inspired! taken in Cape Cod, Massachussets by @madeby_chlo

current needlepoint WIP!

i saw this pattern from Penny Linn and was obsessseddd! I painted the canvas because why pay an arm and a leg for a pre-painted needlepoint canvas when you can make it yourself?!

hi hello! welcome to my little crafty corner :) a place for me to dump my past pieces, current works in progress, and inspo for the future!

my artist mother taught me everything i know about art and DIYs, while my businessman father taught me everything i know about how to ball on a budget. the result? a girl who believes she can make and create anything.

prior to 2023, i would’ve described myself as more of a hoarder of art supplies than someone who actually does art. post-grad gave me the freedom to stop worrying about the next exam or my career path, and start dreaming about all the things i want to paint, projects i want to DIY, and skills i want to learn. i hope you stay a while 🤭 taken in Nashville, Tennessee by @madeby_chlo
