A perfect overcast summer day to take pictures for one of my dearest friends to capture their newly formed family of four in a park that holds significance for them—a setting that’ll be the backdrop of many memories to come! 🌲

Atlas William, welcome to the world! 🌟

Some fun in-home shots of this sweet little guy who I have the honor of being an auntie to! Can’t wait to watch his life unfold as God writes his story.

Couldn’t wait for #seniorsunday because it’s just too many days away! This beautiful client wanted to shoot indoors and she must’ve known that it was gonna downpour outside that day.

Such a great time capturing photos at @loft.tacoma to mark a big milestone for this soon-to-be high school graduate! 🎓

Getting to capture @theamarafamily’s Together We Thrive 2026 was especially meaningful to me as a former foster youth!

There is something powerful about being in a room full of people who care deeply about creating better outcomes, stronger support systems, and brighter futures for youth in care.

This year’s new venue, @kingstreetballroom, was such a beautiful place to host a night centered around hope, community, and impact. Grateful to have been there to capture it all!

A beautiful forest glow for Saturday’s shoot with this sweet couple 🪵🌤️

It was a blast to venture through the woods and take in all the greens that Washington rain brings!

@calebludlow3, we turned from strangers into friends the instant we met 10 years ago. We’d go from laughing about SpongeBob’s grandma one minute to talking about the complexities of life in the next. Our friendship was a safe space that held an unspoken knowing that we could simply be real with one another. What a rare thing that was and what a privilege it has been to share it with you.

You made me laugh without trying. You made me think deeply and see creatively. You were a force in the gentlest, brightest way. A deep feeler with your heart on your sleeve. Loyal to the core. Everyone’s biggest fan.

To know you was to be changed by the way you loved God and His people. Your life powerfully reminded us how much we need Him in everything. You held tightly to Jesus through every single thing and you never let Him go.

There are so many memories with you that’ll be playing on repeat until the day we meet again in Heaven. When the sun breaks through the clouds. When one of our favorite artists comes on. When I reach for Hot Cheetos or sour candy. When I pass the places that hold our times together. I’ll remember you in it all.

It has been such a great gift to be your friend, Caleb. My heart aches knowing we won’t longboard on sunny afternoons, sing our lungs out at another NF concert, share sushi burritos and boba, sit for hours talking about whatever came to mind, or make music in your garage while you wrote the kind of lyrics the world needed to hear. And yet, even in the ache, I have peace knowing you are whole, healed, and standing in the presence of the One you love most.

Your friend forever,
Anne of Green Gables

Yesterday’s photoshoot felt like a real-life Hallmark Christmas moment 💍🎄

Capturing this proposal in a beautifully decorated space was so special and the Washington skies held back the rain long enough for some outdoor shots! Wishing these two a lifetime of happiness!

A cozy in-home newborn session for precious baby Thea! ☁️🧸

The warmth, kindness, and trust of this sweet couple made this an extra special time. Such a loving family!

Getting to capture these first moments is truly an honor and a reminder of how sacred it is to be invited into someone’s world as a photographer. I’m so grateful to get to do what I do!

As a former foster youth, getting to capture photos for the @olive.crest One Child Christmas Party is an annual gift to me. Getting to witness numerous communities come together to spoil local kids in foster care and their foster/kinship families is truly emotional and healing every time.

Being in foster care is especially hard during the holidays, something I firsthand experienced. I’m grateful for events like these that provide amazing gifts and memories for these kids to feel special and highlighted — something bright for them to cling on to in the midst of challenging circumstances.

Thank you to all who choose to do something, anything, for kids in foster care. Your love, time, talent, and generosity don’t go unseen. Every act of love matters!

Thank you to every client who trusted me to capture your holiday memories this year! Your joy, laughter, and love made these sessions so special!

As we head into the next season, I’m wishing you all cozy moments, full hearts, and a truly Merry Christmas! 🎄✨

#tacomaphotographer #pnw #familyphotos #tacomawa by @madebyannikamay

Got to photograph the Ludlow family recently and they are always such a fun and lively bunch!

Tacoma showed off for us, too! A rainless day with pretty Grit City views made the perfect backdrop for an amazing family session. 🏙️

So grateful for those of you who trust me to capture your story year after year!

From aging out after 12 years in foster care to building his very own mobile barbershop 💈✂️

Getting to capture branding photos is always an honor—but this one hit different. As a former foster youth myself, it meant so much to support another who’s turning his dream into reality.

So proud of @pnwbarberlounge for the dedication and heart he’s poured into turning his passion into a career. And a huge shoutout to @dreammakersproject for helping make it happen!

His mobile shop will be open for business soon! If you’re in Pierce or Kitsap County, follow along and show him some love when doors officially open!
