Introducing Box3.

For over fifteen years, film has been at the heart of how OX helps organizations multiply good in the world. Over those years, we have learned a lot about what it takes to tell stories across cultures, contexts, and continents in a way that truly honors the people at the center of them.

So we found a third way of making films: a curated global network of trusted producers and long-term collaborators, people we have worked alongside for years, who bring cinematic craft together with a genuine understanding of the communities they film in.

Meet Alex. Seoul, South Korea. 🇰🇷 
Alex Bell Roh is our guy on the ground in Seoul, producing international productions, commercials, and K-pop projects, and assembling exceptional Korean crews for shoots of every shape and size. 
We’ve made some pretty great stuff together. And apparently the global network extends to breakfast, because Justin caught up with Alex in LA on Sunday. 🙌

What are you here to do?
Tom Paterson spent his life asking that question.
His remarkable journey intersected with innovation, government, business and some of the defining ideas of his generation. It also included profound personal loss.
Through it all, Tom kept returning to purpose, eventually developing a way of thinking that helped leaders and organizations understand not only what they should do, but why.
Paterson is a cinematic portrait of a life well lived and an idea that has deeply shaped the way we think at BOX3.

What happens when a film has to communicate across more than one language?
Filmed in Seoul with an entirely Korean crew, this production brought together spoken English and Korean alongside Korean Sign Language, International and American Sign Language.
Filmed in a large hangar-style sound stage, multiple cameras captured everything from extreme wides to the movement of individual hands, allowing the story to communicate differently to deaf and hearing audiences at the same time.
Global production is more than working somewhere else. It’s learning how to create together.

What if doubt isn’t disrespect?
A lot of young people have real questions about faith, God and religion, but don’t always feel like there’s a place where they’re allowed to ask them.
DarkRoom was created for those questions.
Built as a series of highly stylized narrative short films for Gen Z, we used a heightened cinematic world of light, color and atmosphere to tell faith stories in a visual language that feels entirely contemporary.
A place to ask difficult questions.
A place to find faith in the dark. (edited)

The creative process rarely takes the shortest route.
Filmed across India, The Long Road took us from the deserts of Rajasthan near the Pakistan border to mountains, mines and roads traveled by motorcycle and camel.
But the landscape was only part of the journey.
The best creative work is built through relationships and partnerships that take us places we never could have planned on our own.
Sometimes the long road is the point.

Sometimes you just need to get out of the office.
Escape to Beauty begins with something familiar: mundane jobs, pointless tasks and a group chat between friends wondering if there might be something more interesting on the other side of the workday.
Their answer? Get out. Go somewhere together. Find something beautiful.
Filmed in Los Angeles and on location at Museum of the Bible in Washington, D.C., this broadcast spot used comedy to tap into a very human desire for beauty, history and meaning.
Sometimes escape isn’t about getting away. It’s about stepping into something more.
