Owambe Season is pretty close and you still haven’t figured out what you’re wearing?

So I started sketching the kind of look that makes you walk into the venue and immediately hear,
“Who made this outfit?”
I started with an idea, played around with the silhouette, colours and now we’re getting somewhere.

I imagined a Yoruba bride dressed in elegance, with every detail carefully placed to make the look feel richly calm yet elegant.

From the sculpted silhouette to the royal blue cut-out, to the net pleated flare at the hem of the sleeves and the intricate finishing touches, I wanted the entire look to feel like a modern interpretation of timeless Yoruba bridal beauty.

A look that existed in my imagination first now brought to life through fashion illustration. 💙

What if nature could be worn🌿?

This piece began with a simple fascination:
"plants, flowers, and the quiet beauty of nature."
Instead of placing flowers on a dress, I wanted to imagine what would happen if nature became the dress itself.

"The delicate vines inspired the intricate beadwork, climbing and flowing across the silhouette like living stems, the flowers gather around the hem, almost like a garden in bloom, while the deep green tones bring the richness of foliage to life".
The result is a woman-shaped garden, structured, feminine, organic, and unapologetically rooted in nature.
