Hi friends! Many of y'all already know me, but for those who don't, I thought I'd reintroduce myself with a few quick facts!😋
*My name is Madz:)
*I am from Louisiana🐊 and that has shaped me into who I am today and has influenced my art greatly🖌️
*My background however, is in Education! I went to Baylor (Sic em Bears!🐻) where I studied Elementary Education, and Informal Education in Grad School 👩🏼‍🎓
*After school, I moved to Kansas City (Go Chiefs, Go Royals💙) to work in a children’s museum where I developed their summer and day camp programs. With my team, we were voted Best Summer Camp in Kansas City! 🎉
*After work each day, I was fulfilling orders for watercolor paintings, digital art, and hand made rugs. After a few months of orders picking up, I decided to pursue art full time!🎨
*In my last weeks at the children’s museum I was asked to paint a MASSIVE game board for the museum's interactive field trips! It was a blast and reignited my love for large scale painting.
*I then moved back to LA and worked on Made by Madz Art full time!
*Since moving home, I have gotten to meet so many incredible people and had amazing opportunities through window paintings, pet portraits, house watercolors, and more!💕
*I am extremely thankful you’re on this artistic journey with me! Thank you for supporting me and helping make my dreams come true!💕🎨
