No minute-by-minute travel itinerary for once.

I was pleasantly surprised by how good it felt not being pressured by a tight schedule.

Booked this trip to experience night markets & 7-eleven in Taipei — left making a list of all the other cities I need to visit around the country when I come back.

Taiwan, you were wonderful ✨️

I lost myself in the noise of what “success is”

• a thriving business
• high recognition
• constant praise

In reality, I’ve come to realize that all means so little to me 🙃

More than anything, I’ve learned that I actually see success as

• an unbreakable relationship with God
• the peace that comes with healing from childhood traumas
• living for the challenges that comes with growth
• a kind and respectful relationship with my husband & myself

I get why I was chasing the wrong things, though.

I grew up in constant fight or flight mode. the way I felt the most safe was doing my best to achieve every form of “success” I could.

I was using it as a way to protect myself.

Now that i’m in a different point in my life where I don’t need to be guarded, I’m taking my time to finally pursue a life that’s fulfilling to me.

I pray that you get the opportunity to live out what success means to you, too.

The new Crockfords Las Vegas by @lxrhotels may be my favorite hotel in Vegas right now! ✨

Recs if you’re looking to book here & max out your value in 2022:

💳 Book through Amex Platinum’s Fine Hotels & Resorts
🌟 $200 off upon booking
🛎 Room upgrade to a City View 1 bedroom suite
🥢 $125 Resort credit
⤷ we used for dinner at @fuhulv
🥞 $66 breakfast credit
🕓 Complimentary 4pm late checkout
⤷ they also gifted us 1pm early check-in which is RARE in Vegas now without hotel status

Do I recommend Amex Platinum? 💳
It’s 100% not for most. If the benefits are worth it to you, though, it’s DEFINITELY worth applying for. by @madebymaricar

I’ve held back a lot of who I am and who I want to become because of insecurity and the fear of judgement.

It really feels like God’s given me this new season of my life to bless and unlearn anything that’s ever strayed me away from who I’m supposed to be 😭

In turn, I hope I inspire you to step into yourself, too 🤍 by @madebymaricar

Honeymoon recap 🤍

🫖 Oat milk & black tea lattes at @alfred on Melrose & Glossier Alley

🐉 Feeling like we’re in Spirited Away at the Miyazaki Exhibit @academymuseum

🍣 Indulging on Crab Hand rolls @sugarfishbynozawa @kazunorisushi

🛍 Shopping on & around Melrose Avenue @rothys @glossier @casper @mejuri

😌 Attend worship service at the LA Chapel @incmedianews

I’ve never been to Los Angeles without a plan, but I knew we would find something to do in the area once we were there.

We had the BEST time and were surprised how much we enjoyed our time in the city 😦

It goes to show that not every detail of your honeymoon needs to be planned out.

Allowing room for rest, changes, and spontaneity can be a highlight of your vacation ☺️
