These four one-of-a-kind pieces by Méabh Joyce are currently on display and available to purchase at Studio/K Amsterdam 💘

An Irish visual artist and printmaker, Méabh Joyce is currently based in Amsterdam. She graduated from the Belfast School of Art with a BA (Hons) in Fine Art in 2019, where she received the Queen Street Studios Gallery Award in Belfast and was shortlisted for the RDS Visual Artist Award in Dublin the same year. Since then, she has undertaken residencies at AGA Lab in Amsterdam and the Miró Mallorca Foundation, further developing her printmaking practice. 
Méabh’s work explores patterns found in nature and the shifting play of light and shadow. Using printing techniques, such as photo intaglio, chine-collée and silkscreen. Méabh’s work is built up with layers of ink to create a unique, visual and tactile landscape of form and texture.

It has been a surreal few months since moving here and getting back into creating again @aga_lab 💜
