if you know any part of my story, this ending was anything but expected. i’ve fallen many many many times. i used to think i had everything in my life under control. i used to think i was bigger than God. i even believed at one point there was no use in acknowledging the one who made me. i lived in a way that simply mocked Jesus. “i had everything” and was a fool to think i’d be smiling much longer. my biggest regret in this life is knowing i put a smile on Satan’s face for so long. see the thing is with these last couple sentences is that they’ve all started with “i”. i had focused so much of my collegiate career on myself

and then the God who made me had enough and MADE ME KNEEL BEFORE HIM.

the pain my flesh experienced was the greatest gift He had granted me.

i am merely a product of the unfathomable grace of God. it is by His grace that he’s allowed me to meet a lot of other people who’ve been given that same gift. i’ve been blessed to befriend many of His children here on earth. whether my time at cairn, clarks summit, or lancaster bible college… from the bottom of my heart i thank you for letting me exist in these spaces.

to LBC, thank you for meeting me with open arms when i was resistant. thank you for allowing me to transition with no pressure. thank you for fulfilling my dream to play basketball at the collegiate level. thank you for giving me your space to tie a pretty bow on the end of my collegiate career. thank you for letting me be a part of charger nation forever. thank you for filling my senior year with beautiful memories and gifting me beautiful people and thank you for putting a smile back on my face. ❤️♾️ taken in Lancaster Bible College by @madebyteej

He’s been sitting on the porch, awaiting your arrival
You never left His heart, He’s always thinking of you
He’ll come running out to meet you and throw His arms around you
He’s a forgiving God
