Tyler Perry says the budgets for his shows and movies are very low, and that as a Black writer he was offered far less than others. Because he owns the studio, the lights and the sound, he accepts the lower number, makes sure everyone else is paid, and takes his own share later. The value, he explains, sits in owning his catalog rather than in upfront money that signs the work away.
ㅤ
Perry created the Madea films and owns Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta. From T.I.'s expediTIously podcast.

#NEWS: Diddy reportedly got into a fight with fellow inmate Christopher Coke, a Jamaican drug lord known as “Dudus,” at Fort Dix federal prison, suffering a head injury so severe that he was rushed to an outside medical facility, according to TMZ.

Sources claim the altercation stemmed from anger over an NBC News report exposing Diddy’s alleged luxurious lifestyle behind bars. Following the report, prison officials reportedly conducted at least two raids and confiscated cellphones from inmates, including Coke.

Coke, who has been serving a 23 year sentence since 2012, was reportedly furious over the loss of privileges following the raids. Sources claim both men were placed in solitary confinement for two weeks after the fight.

Diddy was already being held in the Special Housing Unit following the NBC report, and the alleged altercation occurred during his daily break, according to the report. by @madefamoustv
