Mahalo for showing up for our community! On the final day of the 2026 Made in Hawai‘i Festival, we were honored to present a check for $40,000 to Hawai‘i Foodbank and The Food Basket on Hawai‘i Island.

This was made possible through the generosity of festival attendees, support from the Hawai‘i Food Industry Association, and a $10,000 contribution from Servco, all coming together to support local families facing food insecurity across Hawai‘i.

🌱🥕💪 Hawaiʻi’s food system is stronger when our local food industry is strong.

This election, Oʻahu voters will have an opportunity to vote YES on Question No. 1, a Charter Amendment that would establish dedicated funding for a Food Security Fund.

🌾 The proposed fund would help increase access to Hawaiʻi-grown and produced food for residents experiencing food insecurity while strengthening our local food system and making Oʻahu more resilient. 🤝🏽🏝️

❗ And importantly: It does not create a new tax or require a simultaneous increase in property tax rates. 🚫💰

🍍🚜 For HFIA members and others across Hawaiʻi’s food industry, this is our opportunity to have a voice in how a portion of existing City revenues are invested in our community—not just for the next few years, but for the future. 🥬

This election, O‘ahu voters have an opportunity to strengthen local food security.

Voting YES on Question #1 would establish a dedicated Food Security Fund to help increase access to locally grown and produced food for our food-insecure neighbors, support local farmers and strengthen our ability to feed our communities during emergencies.

And it does not require an increase in real property tax rates to fund the appropriation.

From a few dozen booths in 1995 to more than 800 local makers today. 🌺

The Made in Hawaiʻi Festival has grown into one of Hawaiʻi’s biggest celebrations of local businesses, makers, food, art, and products made right here in the islands.

What started as a way to give Hawaiʻi makers a better place to sell their products has grown into a four-day event bringing together tens of thousands of people who want to support local.

And one thing we love about this festival? It really is about products made in Hawaiʻi. Vendors have to meet local production requirements to qualify, helping keep the focus on Hawaiʻi businesses and the people behind them.

We were so grateful to experience year 32, meet so many incredible business owners, and hear the stories behind the brands.

If you missed it this year, put next August on your calendar. Go meet the makers. Try the food. Discover a new Hawaiʻi business to support. 🌴

: 🌺🤙ALOHA + COMMUNITY. We’ve seen aloha pull us through time and time again here in the Islands — whether it’s the “Made in Hawai‘i Festival” or truly coming together to help one another rebuild after natural calamities, the support for one another is palpable.

Here, we talked story with Pōmaika‘i Keawe and her daughter, Malie Lyman + Kapua Kalua @madeinhi who also shared about their fond memories of the festival and the aloha in our community❣️

Mahalo for being part of the 32nd Annual Made in Hawai‘i Festival!

For more than three decades, this festival has been about celebrating the incredible people, products, food and businesses that make Hawai‘i special — and it wouldn’t be possible without you.

This year, thousands of you came out to support local businesses, discover new favorites, enjoy delicious food and celebrate everything Made in Hawai‘i. We are incredibly grateful for your enthusiasm and your continued support of our local community.

And most importantly, mahalo for choosing to support Hawai‘i businesses and our Charity Partners. Every purchase, every vendor you visited and every local product you brought home helps keep our local economy strong and supports the people behind these businesses.

Thanks to the generosity of festival attendees and the support of the Hawai‘i Food Industry Association (HFIA) and Servco, a total of $40,000 was donated to the Hawai‘i Foodbank and The Food Basket on Hawai‘i Island during a live, onstage check presentation Sunday afternoon.

The donation reflects the Made in Hawai‘i Festival community’s continued commitment to supporting Hawai‘i families, particularly during times of need. A big mahalo to Servco for contributing $10,000 to support this effort.

Until next year, mahalo nui loa for being part of our festival ‘ohana!

MADE IN HAWAII 2026 📚
One of the biggest highlights of this year for NanielsDesign. 🤎✨

Being a part of Made in Hawaiʻi was more than just an event it was a reminder of how special it is to be surrounded by such an incredible community of local makers, small businesses, and people who genuinely support one another.

I’m so grateful for every person who stopped by, supported us, shared kind words, and made this weekend so special. And most of all, I’m incredibly thankful for my team, none of this would be possible without the love, hard work, and heart they pour into NanielsDesign.

So grateful for how far we’ve come, the community we get to be a part of, and all the beautiful things still ahead. Made in Hawaiʻi, you will forever be one of my favorite memories of 2026. 🤍🌺
