Yes, I performed at Edinburgh Fringe last August, and yes, I’m just posting about it now.

Fun back story: I was lucky enough to perform at the Edinburgh Fringe festival in college where I fell in love with Scotland (it’s hard not to). Flash forward to 2024, Emilio and I went to London and decided to take the train to Scotland for two days. While we were there, I was once again captivated, and I prayed that I would get to perform at Edinburgh fringe festival one more time in my life. A month later @yousopurdy reached out to me and said she had written a play that she’s taking to Edinburgh, and that she wanted me to be in it. Needless to say, I wept.

This whole experience felt like such a divine gift, and reminder that I’m on the right path, and to keep going. I’m praying bigger prayers for 2026, and can’t wait to see what this year holds.

I’m so grateful for all the incredible people involved with our play, Hurricane Party, and for everyone who contributed.

Here’s to the ones who dream! Keep creating✨ taken in Edinburgh, Scotland by @madeleinemasson
