@yourmentalhealthisapriority turns FOUR today 😭😭🤍
wow. finding the right words to describe this opportunity becomes more impossible each year. i could truly never express my profound gratitude!

four years ago, today, i followed a dream that was created by an overwhelming feeling of eagerness to create hope, light, love, and acceptance for those who endured the same feelings of weariness that completely took over my life and left me with an immense amount of trepidation about what might come next.
the outright fear of what my future looked like, the stress of not knowing how i would ever become anything outside of what was going on in my brain, and the process of navigating through unfamiliar feelings and hardships.
four years ago, today, i started this account as a senior in high school, refreshing the page every time someone i knew followed it, with a lump in my throat not knowing how people would view me as a person, for simply knowing that i had just a little harder time living than they did.

what a difference four years can make (🥹)
a community of 63,000 new friends, multiple merch lines that i spot people wearing around town, inspiring podcast conversations, inspiring the youth in classrooms where they struggle most, and most importantly, creating a sense of HOPE for our generation and others moving forward - getting rid of stigma, allowing others a safe space, teaching the world that it’s okay to not be okay - knowing that what makes us feel weak is what guides us to building strength.
i could truly never be more grateful for every single one of the people who have followed along this journey, who have continued to celebrate our strength, have left me thousands of sweet dms (that make me cry everytime🥲), have been our biggest cheerleaders, and most incredibly, have believed in us when nobody else did (,:

tomorrow needs you -

and every day after that!! 🫶🏼
