At 72, I wake up every day reflecting on why raising awareness about caregiving has become such an important issue for me.

It’s because the older I get, the more I think about how I want this chapter of my life to speak life into others, and legacy matters to me.

My experiences continue to shape how I move through the world. They inspire me to lean into life more deeply and double down on finding ways to bring light, support, and hope into the lives of others—before it’s my turn to walk that path again in some way.

Working with my son to remind women to make time to nurture and strengthen their bodies and minds is another way to provide that support.
