the kings project 2025

In the UK this past week i have learned the importance of relationships. relationships with God and your fellow believers and non believers. Even if every conversation with a stranger isn’t a gospel one, it doesn’t mean it’s useless. You’re planting a seed that God is gonna water. I also realized how much being joyful and kind around others can positively influence their day. I’m forever thankful for being able to be a part of this group, and family group 17! best people, best camp, best memories, and the best message!

i can’t even begin to describe how much i’ve learned this week. i was surrounded by the most amazing people, full of God-like love and laughter. i’ve come to understand just how consistent and unchanging God’s character truly is.
i’ll miss pine cove so much, but i hope i’ll be back soon! maybe even in the kitchen…

kindness is the greatest form of God’s love!

this week has been incredible for my relationship with God, and with these amazing people! i have gotten to talk to many people who have changed my perspective and life. i met Diane after we left church on Monday night. she heard us worshiping, and felt like the Lord has been leading her to go to the church but she never went. she went to church when she was younger, but she never really lived how God would want her. She gave her life to Christ that night, but before that she said “you girls are so gorgeous, but i’m not beautiful”. I felt the Lord tell me i needed to share one of my favorite verses to her after she gave her life to Christ.
- the verse - “you are altogether beautiful, my love; there is no flaw in you.” Song of Solomon 4:7
after i cited this verse, we both started bawling. i explained that i have always struggled with my worth, and feeling confident about my looks. however, i continued to explain how it doesn’t matter if people think you are pretty or not, because God thinks you’re perfect because you are made in the image of God. that’s so much more meaningful than anyone else thinking so. This mission trip has been so life changing, and i can’t wait for the future with following God. taken in Oahu, Hawaii by @madelyn.rutledge
