Today, I attended my final college gathering at Redeemer Church. If you know me, you know how much this church means to me. 3.5 years ago I moved in to my dorm, and the next day sat in the back of these walls. From then on, I knew that this was the home God had for me in Lubbock, and, sure enough, it has been so much more than I could’ve ever asked or imagined!!

I’m so thankful to be known by my church! To have cried many tears and walked through many seasons with the same people who took me in as a lonely and naive freshman. Thank you, Redeemer Church, for pushing me, mobilizing me, believing in me, supporting me, and being a sanctuary that ultimately pointed me to my Father in Heaven. I am who I am because of how the Lord used this ministry, and I wouldn’t have wanted to spend my college years any where else. “So that through the church the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly places.” Ephesians 3:10

To those who may have been hurt by a church, I’m sorry and I know it’s scary, but please give it another try🫂We live in a country flooded with churches to choose from, and that is a privilege, and not a reality for billions of people around the world. However, God has put you in proximity to one for a reason, will you utilize it?. No church is perfect, for only Jesus Christ himself can fulfill that role. You won’t agree with everything and may even shed some tears sometimes because of it, but I hope that you see that God’s goodness prevails even in what’s broken. The Church is God’s Bride, and He just wants you to know her, so make the church your home and tell others!! Open yourself up to being fully known by the community we as human’s were designed to be in, and it just might be the best decision you make. :)

B.S. in Nutritional Sciences and Dietetics incoming🎓❤️‍🔥
I love this school and I’m so thankful the Lord placed me here! TYJ for 3.5 great years here!! Nonetheless, I’m excited to announce that I will be pursuing my Master’s Degree online here at Texas Tech, and then hopefully move in August to complete my Dietetic Internship! Feeling so grateful for all the memories and friends I’ve made here, and can’t believe goodbye is really almost here🫂💌🌹 taken in Texas Tech University by @madelynglanton

Lubbock-maxed for the final time last week💔
I love this place with my whole heart! Forever thankful for the best four years and the friendships that filled it. The Lord was so kind to place me here and I’ll never get over it! And that’s a wrap💌🫂🎬
My final undergraduate semester recap and what an amazing semester it was!! Praising God for new and consistent friendships, fresh chapters, lots of celebrations, further sanctification, never-ending grace, and wonderful memories. College has been abundantly more than I could’ve ever asked or imagined and looking forward to what God has for me next! Officially a TTU alumni with a very filled heart🙂💐♥️🎓
