day 12 - osaka castle / by @madeof.sunshine

day 11 - part 2 - exploring kyoto/osaka on our last full day in Japan

after the museum, we strolled through a few neighborhoods in kyoto before booking it back to osaka to finish up any last minute items (including getting a new set of kitchen knives 🔪)

special highlight to Cremia ice cream - literally the best ice cream i’ve ever had. almost too unique to describe. creamy, cheesy, delicious 🤤

and our final omakase dinner on the 12th floor of a random building in osaka. the food was delicious and the chefs were so friendly (peep the vid where they realize ed is left handed and proceed to switch the angle of the sashimi they just set out). left with full stomachs and an origami swan the chefs made, signed and dated 🦢

day 11 - part 1 - Nintendo Museum in Kyoto

we managed to snag these tickets MONTHS in advance it’s on the original campus that their first factory was built on in Kyoto. the place is filled with photo-ops and SO MUCH HISTORY. did you know nintendo was originally a card game company??
