Henry's on James is a fairly new addition to downtown Hamilton that feels chic and romantic on the inside with old school charm and art deco vibes. And they know what they're doing when it comes to prime rib - the most popular choice from what I've heard.

Cooked perfectly, carved table side and served with fluffy mashed, no photo I have could ever do it justice. You have to try it for yourself.

To start we had the caramelized onion spinach dip and it arrived with Ritz crackers. And you might not expect an average grocery store item to show up at a place like this, but the buttery melt in your mouth texture is a refreshing take over the usual tortilla chip or flatbread.

One of the most wonderful surprises here was their take on a fortune cookie. A sparkling cocktail with a mini clothes pin on the rim with a fortune attached. I've never seen anything like it and will always remember it. It's the little unique approaches to dining like this that make a place truly memorable.

I am in love with the flight trend. At one point I would only see flights of beer which is a great way to shop around with so many options on a menu. These days I see coffee flights and soup flights, but this breakfast version really did it for me.

A toast flight WITH juice pairings?! What could be better? This spot is @montrosebreakfastresto in #downtownhamilton and seen here, is cacio e peppe toast, smoked salmon avocado toast and a seasonal choice which I believe was a brisket and egg combo...

Skip the ipad and keep the kiddos busy while engaging their creativity at @zappispizzeria in Niagara Falls.

Pumpkins after dark is a trail of spooky themed carved pumpkins that is 100% worth the drive to Milton

You'll see scary ones, kid friendly sights, pop culture versions and eye catching installations that make for excellent photos. This is my second time here and they have a lot to offer:

You can visit right up to Saturday November 1st
