Oh yes! We are so looking forward to being back in the beautiful Tithe Barn at Pilton, Glastonbury.
We met some of the best people when we were there last, it's not surprising being on such a magical site!

The moment we arrived we knew we belonged. We sat on the driveway looking out over the fields towards the setting sun. A vow was made. If we didn't get this house, then our deposit would be spent on plane tickets to who knows where.

Our path to that driveway had taken us round the world, with countless house moves back in the uk, It had instantly felt like home. After nine months of searching we knew that nowhere was going to top the feeling we experienced as we arrived here on a hill that afternoon.

Later that evening instead of driving for hours back to Derbyshire we crossed our fingers, booked a B&B and did arguably the best thing to do in that situation... We went to the pub.

Since welcoming us on our first evening here in Wiltshire, twenty-three years ago; The Pear Tree pub has become a very special place for us. It has hosted so many delicious meals, comedy nights, long summer days, cosy winter fires, birthdays celebrations, New years cheers, gatherings with friends and family and even a family Christmas day lunch. We love our pub.

Last year, the brilliant Whitley villagers set up a new shop in the Pear Tree car park and we are so happy to announce that you'll now able to find some of our creations there.

Be sure to drop by and visit what we feel is the best pub in the world and call in to the Whitley Stores to browse some of our vibrant local artisans and makers.

Hello!

The new year has started with a flurry of creativity here at Made on a Hill. The stacks of reclaimed and recycled wood are getting smaller as the new workshop develops ever closer to becoming an amazing space, which is getting us really excited for what's to come this year.

We are about to release more products on madeonahill.com. We'll be sending out an email to all the lovely peeps on our mailing list to give them a first look at the new collections ahead of the general public, as we have been selling out quickly lately.

After a brilliant evening at Griffin Estate Christmas Market in Lacock we are readying ourselves for our run of December markets.

We kick off this Wednesday @therisingsunlacock Christmas Market in Lacock.

This beautiful pub will be dressed for the occasion with a great variety of stall holders and a log fire.
As well as hot dogs and our outside bar, full bar inside with hot drinks, mulled wine, mince pies and live music from matchbox mutiny!
