Super proud of myself for making this outdoor furniture for our backyard! Changed the dimensions of a different plan with my wonderful architect brother (so they fit the cushions I already bought), borrowed a miter saw and pocket hole jig from our neighbors, and banged it all out in 3 days! Soooo much cheaper than buying it and it is so satisfying to make something with your own hands. And of course, I made fence art and got pillows to fit the vibe we wanted. THE biggest and arguably most important @madexmomo project to date!

Every detail of our wedding was a love story in itself! We tried to be so intentional with this day, choosing everything so that it felt like us through and through.

We chose colors that reflected our love of our favorite season of fall, I designed our invitation suite myself, trying to capture both our personalities🧡 We had hand written notes for our guests, custom playing cards for our guests to play our favorite card game (Rumy), and even painted our own head table plates by hand🥹We wrote our own song from lines of our love letters, created yard chicken signs so our girls could be with us, had table captains to keep the fun alive, personal cakes for each table, thrifted brooches for the guys, surprised my mama with her own first dance, had loads of color, all the fun, and most importantly, all the LOVE. All this to celebrate our love for one another and it was so beyond special.

Got to make the cutting board of my dreams with the board-maker-extraordinaire this summer! Ben has been making some HIGH quality cutting boards lately and guided me through my very own. One sunny day in July I decided we needed some cornhole boards, so I whipped some up from scratch, hole and all (not great footage of me working lol). Dylan and I took on this beast of a project redoing my parent’s old dresser and side tables for our new house in Fort Collins. We wanted something bold, and bold it is!
