When I was around 7, I was baptized—but at that time, I didn’t fully understand the meaning behind it. It was just something that I did to say “I got baptized”, without the depth of personal faith or understanding behind it . As I’ve grown and walked through life, I’ve come to truly know who God is and what it means to have a personal relationship with Him.

Over the past season, God has been doing a deep work in my heart. I’ve experienced His grace, His mercy, and the transformative power of His love in a way I never had before. I made the decision to fully surrender my life to Him. With that decision, I knew it was time to be baptized again.

With a heart that now understands and believes, I chose to be rebaptized. This time, it was my decision. A public declaration of my faith, my love for Jesus, and my commitment to live for Him. I’m not who I used to be. I’ve been made new, and I’m walking in the freedom only Christ can give! I’m not perfect, but I am His and I’ve come to realize that’s the only thing that matters.

Im so incredibly grateful for not only my church, but everyone in the church who have helped build me up to where I am today, all of my mentors and friends. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all the sweet people in my life who continue to walk next to me with my journey. ROL has given me countless amazing opportunity’s that truly have helped me build the relationship I have with Jesus. Forever thankful for His grace and for giving me a second chance to start new!
