“.... an educated woman does not parade around in a swimsuit.” This is a direct quote that came from the Miss America Organization in regards to a new scholarship being offered. Originally I was not going to post about this topic, but the more I have thought about it the more I feel the need to. The notion that women can not be both educated and be in a swimsuit is ridiculous and flat out false. It is a condescending way of indicating that a woman can not be both “beauty and brains.” Wearing a swimsuit bears no resemblance to my educational background, intelligence level, nor should it EVER define a person OR their worth. Rant over. by @madifiedd

As a kid, I thought the Bermuda Triangle would be a much bigger problem in my adult life. Turns out… I was right.

2024 round-up:

1. Turned 30 surrounded by the most incredible & supportive people ever
2. Bought my dream truck
3. Britton went into remission after 5 years
4. Worked alongside an extraordinary & talented team on the biggest project FWC has ever had
5/6. Saw my fav artist on tour with my girlie swirlie
7. Didn’t see a single deer this season
8. But had some great views
9. Watched Vanderbilt beat Bama from the Swamp
10. Completed 1 year of Pilates (no joke & not for the weak)
11. Got creative
12. Had the annual cut and color
13. Made skincare a priority
14. Annual Steinhatchee trip
15. Egg head mode activated
16. Watched UCF bring back FROST
