One week. Countless prayers. Endless memories.
This mission trip changed more than I ever expected. I went hoping to make a difference in the lives of others, but God ended up changing my own heart too. Watching these kids laugh, learn about Jesus, and experience His love reminded me what truly matters. They may never know how much they impacted me, but I’ll carry each smile, hug, and conversation with me forever. It reminded me that sharing the Gospel isn’t about having the perfect words. it’s about showing up, loving people well, and letting God do the rest. I’m leaving with a heart that’s fuller, faith that’s deeper, and a renewed passion to live every day with eternity in mind. My comfortability is not worth their eternity. 🤍 by @madison.millard1

As I get ready to begin my senior year, I can’t help but look back and reflect on what the Lord has done in my life since my baptism. Baptism wasn’t the finish line. it was the beginning of a new chapter. It was my public declaration that I wanted to follow Jesus, and over this past year, the Lord has continued to teach me what that truly means.

Following Christ has brought so much joy, peace, and purpose into my life, but it hasn’t always been easy. There have been moments of doubt, seasons where I didn’t understand his plan, days when obedience felt difficult, and times when I disobeyed. Yet through every high and every low, God has remained faithful. His grace has been greater than my mistakes, his strength has carried me when I felt weak, and his love has never changed. Looking back, I can see so many prayers he has answered. I can also see how he was working in the moments when I couldn’t understand what he was doing. Every season has shaped me into who I am today. As I step into my senior year, my prayer isn’t that everything will be easy. My prayer is that I’ll continue to trust him, serve him wholeheartedly, love people the way he does, and glorify him in everything I do. I want this last year of high school to be about more than just making memories, I want it to be about growing closer to Christ and becoming more like Jesus daily. by @madison.millard1

Mission Arlington in 7 days. 🤍 I’m excited, expectant, and praying that God would move in ways only He can. Please pray for safe travels, open hearts to see the Lord move, and hearts that are ready to receive the hope of Jesus. I am beyond thankful for this opportunity! Thank you Lord.

16 lessons I learned from my 16th year around the sun ☀️🌷🤸🏼‍♀️🎉
1. God’s timing is always worth trusting
2. change can be a good thing
3. Joy is found in the Lord
4. Jot everyone will like you and that’s okay.
5. The right people feel easy to be around
6. Comparison steals joy
7. Some of the best memories are unplanned
8. Your worth isn’t based on people’s opinions
9. It’s okay to outgrow people and places
10. sometimes you just gotta dance it out
11. Confidence changes everything
12. You don’t need to rush your life
13. Little moments become big memories
14. all prayers are answered even if they aren’t what we expected.
15. God can turn hard seasons into beautiful ones
16. hard seasons don’t last forever
