Hello Panda This was a fun one with director @_francois and @raindropagency with cartoon 2D set design, kids, and some stunts on a white cyc wall. Cool to see all the VFX and motion graphics pull the world together and make it cohesive with the branding and packing of Meiji Hello Panda. This one was epic. Working with our friends @jnsnext, we created an insanely fun campaign for @visitgreaterps. I’m incredibly grateful for the trust, collaboration, and the opportunity to work alongside people who constantly push us to think outside the box. Here’s a look behind the scenes. More to come! by @madisondyer
A Living Canvas One of the greatest gifts of documentary filmmaking is discovering the people who quietly shape the places we love. We met Tom Lamb and Eric Jessen while creating a documentary about Laguna Beach. Their perspective reminds us that preserving a place means honoring its history while caring for its future. Guardian of the Land Spending time with people who deepen your connection to a place is a gift. We met Alan while creating a documentary about Laguna Beach. His relationship with the canyons reminds us that protecting a place begins with belonging to it. This is Alan’s story. The Sacred Coast One of the greatest parts of documentary filmmaking is meeting people who see the world differently. We met @richgermanlb while creating a documentary about Laguna Beach. After decades exploring Laguna’s coastline by paddleboard and documenting thousands of encounters with dolphins and whales, his relationship with the ocean is rooted in gratitude, stewardship, and a deep respect for the coast he calls home. This is Rich’s story. Inspired by Place Every place has people who help define it. While creating a documentary about Laguna Beach, we had the opportunity to spend time with artists, conservationists, historians, and storytellers whose connection to this place runs deep. Over the next few weeks, we’ll be sharing a collection of short documentary portraits inspired by those conversations. We begin with photographer @taylorosullivan of @culterra_ Production Company: @vodafilms Director: Noah Carlson Producer: @michaelalexanderauchard DP: @madisondyer AC: @_omadavid Sound: @vincent.fatato Editor: Noah Carlson Color: @madisondyer Filmed during the production of “Only One Laguna Beach,” a documentary campaign created for Visit Laguna Beach. by @madisondyer
A look behind the scenes from the production of “Only One Laguna Beach,” our documentary campaign created in collaboration with Visit Laguna Beach. What began as one documentary quickly became something more. Along the way, we met brilliant artists, conservationists, historians, and storytellers whose connection to Laguna Beach inspired a collection of short documentary portraits we’ll be sharing over the coming weeks. Grateful to everyone who welcomed us into their world and trusted us to tell their stories. by @madisondyer
