Finished miss flag quilt right in time for Memorial Day weekend 🇺🇸🍒🛥️

I had Chat GPT help me with measurements then made the rest up as I went along. I posted the process in reels on my story highlight! If you're looking for a more specific pattern to follow @thimbleblossoms has a great one🫶🏻

A part of the quilting process I always get questions on- finishing with a longarm 🧺🪡🧵 I always take mine to @quiltlovelongarm

Once your quilt top is all stitched together you’ll want to either self bind or take it to a longarm expert. I’ve personally never self finished because I want my quilts to be heirloom quality and last for years and years! It’s well worth the investment to not skip this step. Lmk if I can answer any other questions for you about this 🤗

When you have a toddler and friend with an embroidery machine the possibilities are truly endless ✨

When I found this Etsy file of a cowboy wrangling a gator I knew it was perfect for my Florida boy🐊🤠

POV you’re 2 years old so your mom finally learns how to make cool stuff like car bags instead of just quilts and needlepoint 🚙

All the intentional little details of my baby shower that I will never get over and made me feel so loved:

Spread based off all my pregnancy cravings INCLUDING….

a fully stocked coffee bar with every syrup, milk, and creamer imaginable ☕️

Custom stickers on all the plastic cups 🩵

Little jelly jars covered in bandanas + embroidered with every guest’s name on them for party favors 🫙

A meaningful hand written note from me waiting at everyone’s place setting💌

STUNNING floral arrangements from @bellarose.blooms

Polaroids for scrapbooking of course!

Photos on the tables documenting this pregnancy for a personal touch

Custom signage welcoming everyone in always makes it feel so special and elevated

Photos I’ll HAVE to recreate once little baby boy is out of my belly

@brooke_lynnmilne always going insanely over the top making every detail perfect, generously offering her home + rearranging her entire living room, intentionally planning/scheming for months, embroidering favors and ordering custom stickers and signs, coordinating food, and just being the queen of celebrations! 🩵

So many perfectly thoughtful thrifted gifts friends have picked up and held onto with me in mind

Can you see from the look in my eyes that my heart is exploding with love?? **Please note the adorable range hood cover completing the baby boy cafe vibe

Scanning my Polaroids into my camera roll for safekeeping there 🎞️

Everyone making sure the Instagram cover photo would be perfect 🤳

I can’t put into words how meaningful every last detail was. When we moved across the country last year I never would’ve expected to be so blessed with a room full of meaningful friendships and beautiful party details (my love language!!)
