One year in Canada 🇨🇦🤍
A year ago today I landed in Calgary with one suitcase and no idea what I was going to do. Just the determination that life had to get better and that I deserved this new start. One year on and I still get excited by the snow, the mountains, and just the kindness and love I’ve experienced here.
The best thing I’ve ever done was start over in Canada, and the bravest thing I’ve ever done was leave.

I don’t even know where to begin to sum up 2025. This year shaped me and saved me beyond words. You really don’t know how lost you are until you find yourself again and that was my aim for this year, and boy did I do just that.
I packed my life into one suitcase, and left an industry that no longer served me. Stepping away from a life of content creation and finding myself for me and not the front I was putting on.
For the first time in my life I feel like my spark is completely back and I am living and no longer just surviving.
This year has been one for the books and one I will never forget. by @madisonmrc
