Three composers. Three distinct musical worlds. 🎻✨

This Saturday, the Hunt Quartet takes the stage for an evening featuring the music of Mendelssohn, Gershwin, and Turina.

Swipe through to meet the composers—and get a taste of what’s in store. →

📍 River Arts Center
📅 Saturday, September 26
⏰ 7 PM

🎟️ $15 standard | Students & Seniors $12

FELIX MENDELSSOHN 🎻

Dramatic. Energetic. Romantic.

Mendelssohn’s String Quartet No. 4 in E minor is full of intensity, movement, and emotion—from its restless opening to its powerful finale.

Your Saturday night soundtrack starts here.

GEORGE GERSHWIN ✨

Classical music meets the sounds of America.

Gershwin’s Lullaby for String Quartet brings a completely different mood to the program—dreamy, warm, and beautifully lyrical.

A little jazz. A little romance. A lot of Gershwin.

JOAQUÍN TURINA

A little Spanish flair.

La Oración del Torero—“The Bullfighter’s Prayer”—brings color and passion to the final piece of the night. taken in Sauk Prairie River Arts Center by @madisonsymphony
