you started as just a game, but over the years, you became a huge part of who i am. you gave me teammates who became sisters, road trips that turned into memories, and lessons that reached far beyond the field. you gave me a second family in every dugout, and some of the best coaches i could’ve ever asked for. especially my pitching coaches, who believed in me, challenged me, and helped me grow into the player i always dreamed of becoming.

and to my dad…
there are no words big enough. you’ve been my coach, my catcher, my road trip DJ, (even though some of the music was questionable), and the much needed tough love behind every step of this journey. we have spent years on the field as coach and coaches daughter, but today marks the last time you would ever get to coach me. i am glad we finished this chapter together! thank you for never missing a game, never letting me quit, and for loving the game, and me, with your whole heart. i truly couldn’t of asked for a better coach/dad, without you i wouldn’t of gotten this far and have been able to accomplish my dream of playing D1 softball.

a BIG thanks to CT Thunder for shaping me into the player and person i’ve become, and thank you to all my teammates who put up with my jokes and constant chatter over all these years..
