Happy 1st birthday Maverick :)🎉🌭
A year ago I got offered the chance to get a dog. And a lot of people told me I’m in college, I’m young, it’ll be expensive, and he would just he too hard to take care of. But I couldn’t be more grateful that I chose to do it anyways, and let me tell you i have learned so much about taking care of something so precious. Maverick doesn’t know it but he has completely changed my life. I moved 2,000 miles away from home almost 2 years ago now, and though it’s been my dream to live In Keywest it was probably one of the hardest things I’ve ever done in my life. Leaving everyone and everything behind to begin the dream I now wanted to complete, Mav gave me this drive this passion. And I wake up everyday with a reason. I don’t know where id be without this little guy. He may be a Weiner but he’s got an energy I’ve never experienced. Maverick gave me light when I was in the dark. And since getting him my life has turned positive. If I could talk to him he would never hear the end of this, but momma smothers him too much so he definitely knows I love him lol. Getting a dog in college has been hard, but it has been such an amazing and rewarding experience. He loves Thomas, he protected Tucker before he passed, and now he is the best big brother to little Toby, and watching him grow had been bittersweet. He really does give me so much inspiration in life, and he has the LONGEST personality. From super expensive vet bills to expensive pet store visits, id do it every day for the rest of my life if that meant he got to be my best friend. He is my partner in crime, my best friend, and my little boy. I hope everyone has a pet like maverick someday in their life. And i hope if you’ve ever met maverick he has put some weiner love in your life. Thank you Maverick for loving and taking care of your momma. Happy first birthday my baby. 🎉🎂🥳💌 by @madiwisel
