Right in the heart of Catania, the remains of the Roman Amphitheatre are hiding beneath the modern city — a reminder that Sicily is basically a history book you can walk through.
Built in the Roman era from the lava stone of Mount Etna, this massive amphitheatre could once hold more than 15,000 spectators. Today, only part of it is visible… with the rest still hidden beneath the streets and buildings of Catania. 🌋🏛️
And honestly, that’s what I love most about Sicily — you never know what you’re going to discover around the next corner.
Catania is layers upon layers of history. And this one is literally underneath your feet. 🇮🇹✨

30 minutes in the sky, a lifetime in my heart 💙✈️
Soaring above the crystal-clear lagoons of Mauritius in a seaplane felt like watching paradise unfold beneath my feet. From turquoise waters and coral reefs to tiny islands and endless shades of blue — every second was unreal.
Seeing Mauritius from above hits different. The ocean looks like a painting, the coastline feels endless, and the peace up there is something you can’t explain… only experience.
Grateful for moments like these. 🌊☀️

Falling into blue dreams in Mauritius 🇲🇺💙
Where the ocean isn’t just a view — it’s an experience.
Swimming with striped fish, floating in crystal blues, and living that island life I’ll never forget.

Blaue Stunde an der Nordsee. 💙✨
Still water, warm lights & one of those quiet evenings I could never get tired of.
Manchmal sind es die kleinen Momente. 🌙 by @madix.madilix

The calm of nature. 🌿🕊️
There’s something about open skies, birds in flight, and the quiet of nature that makes everything slow down for a moment.
And sometimes, peace isn’t somewhere far away. It’s right outside your door. 🤍

Herbsttage in Wilhelmshaven 🍂✨
Somewhere between green and gold, autumn quietly takes over.
Ein bisschen Sonne, ein bisschen Herbst und genau die Art von Moment, die ich festhalten möchte. 🤎

Sometimes the best moments are the ones that ask for nothing.
No plans, no notifications, no rush. Just green fields, blue skies and a little reminder that life feels different when you slow down. 🌿🐑
Maybe we don’t always need to go somewhere extraordinary.
Sometimes, we just need to be present where we are.
Offline looks pretty good from here. 🤍 by @madix.madilix

POV: a little glimpse of Sicily, seen through my eyes. 🇮🇹
From the ancient temples of Agrigento to the golden streets of Noto, the energy of Catania, and all the little towns and hidden corners along the way.
Sicily is so much more than one destination — every town has its own character, every street has a story, and there’s always another place waiting to be discovered.
A few moments from a journey I’ll never forget. ✨ by @madix.madilix
