Another Wolverine! Reference picture came from Pinterest.

I used a mechanical pencil for the sketch and a pen nib, brush and black ink for the inking.

I scanned the original piece and erased some ink stains which shouldn’t be there in the first place. Still can’t be clean with ink on paper 😁 by @madman_markus

Wolverine and Mariko

A redrawing from last years October. The same reference picture from Pinterest, but I invested more time into the new drawing than in the drawing from October. Also I didn’t put „pressure“ on myself because of some inktober Challenge.

The funny thing about this is, that I didn’t like the crosshatching because I thought I messed it up with the pen nib and the ink. Therefore I used the drawing as an experiment which took all pressure off of me. In the end I’m still not satisfied with the hatching, but I’m glad with the outcome.

I used the following materials:
Mechanical pencil
Black ink (Deleter No 3)
Pen nib (G-pen by Zebra)
Black fineliner (Sakura Pigma Micron)
Watercolor (Van Gogh) by @madman_markus
