CHODINGER’S DAD by Maxwell Oliver Thornton

No one tells me the truth about my dad. He was addicted to drugs. He rode motorcycles. An aunt told me he tied in a fight with a motorcycle and a line of barbed wire. He was trying to be a nurse, he died a couple years ago. When he was born and immediately adopted, he spent the first few years of his life in Iran. Jeffery Lang Thornton. His first wife’s name was Kay Kay. There’s this part of me that wants to make up stuff about him but that’s all I truly know. His adoptive parent’s names were MERT and FRANK. All I did was watch homeward bound at their house. It all makes sense. Trust me. I don’t miss him, I miss the potential opportunities i configured in my mind where I would generate something with him. But I have some of his ashes in a black cross that hangs on my lamp. I definitely don’t think he ever felt sorry for himself. My mom says he was really sweet to her after her dad died. And he was really funny. But it just didn’t work out. Did Jeff show me how to eat eggs with ketchup? Or not ? I’ll never know but I just eat eggs with a lot of pepper now. I’m nervous to tag my half siblings from him cause this post is kinda depressing but I don’t think so. I’m really content now that im posting this.
