This weekend is one I know no one will forget. This is not how anyone expected NCA to go. It's heartbreaking to think 2 people could ruin the dreams of so many little kids. My team was not able to compete at all this weekend because of it, and I'm in disgust that the seniors including myself is how we will be leaving this year and NCA. My team was on our way to warmups until we saw our coach telling us to turn around and run. I'm forever grateful for maddie reagan for taking my hand telling me to run for my life. I'm so proud of all of those teams who went out there day 2 and absolutely killed it. All of those cheerleaders and families will be in my prayers from now on at cheer competitions. Varsity please do better. by @mads.pal

My name is Maddie and I am 19 years old and this is my testimony. I have always grown up in the church and known of God and Jesus, but never really understood it. I knew Jesus died for our sins, but it didn't really mean anything to me. As a kid I was always going through the motions of going to church and got baptized but I just did to please others and tell others that I was a Christian because I was baptized and went to church. All my friends never really went to church or had faith so as I grew older it started to feel like a chore for me. When covid happened we completely stopped going to church and I lost true sight of what mattered. God. A little over a year ago, my senior year of highschool, is when things started to get really rough. I had lost hope and faith, felt lost and empty inside. Feeling anxious, depressed, I started pushing everyone and everything away. I had quit cheer, lost all of my friends, I didn't know who I was anymore. That was until I graduated highschool and felt a glimpse of hope. I went back to cheer, and was put on a team with Paige. She truly helped grow closer to God and want to build my faith and want to have a relationship with him. I was tired of walking alone, trying to do things my own way. Paige brought me to Love Church for Easter, and I knew immediately this is where I needed to be and I would be coming back. I started going to church regular and growing my faith for myself. After going through some recent health struggles I've learned to really trust and lean on God for everything. On May 29th I gave my life to Jesus Christ. Today, June 28 I surrender myself to my Lord, and am reborn. I can truly say I have never been happier and I can not wait to walk this journey with the Lord and live out his plan for me, cause I know he is not done with me yet! Just know that you are NEVER too far gone to be loved and saved by Jesus Christ! by @mads.pal
