Watercolor on paper of "The Suit" 15 x 11 inches of a drawing/painting combination. The image goes out to all of our business people who wear suits on the job. (This one was for the husband that left daily wearing one) A few years ago I really got into this gestural watercolor method of delivering a finished piece. Prints of this watercolor are available on my website -

Cave people were the original home decorators.

Some of the oldest known art in the world was found in the Chauvet Cave in France. Early humans painted lions, mammoths, and rhinos in charcoal and ochre, using the contours of the rock to bring the animals to life.

Many lifetimes later, we still use the walls around us to tell stories, express ourselves, and mark our time here. Some things never go out of style.

Here's more info about today's artwork. You can also find it in my online gallery.

Ever walk past a blank wall and feel like it’s… silently judging you?

If a wall makes you pause, it’s probably asking for attention. Care to give it the creative touch it wants?

Tell me about a time you just had to decorate a wall before it drove you nuts!

This artwork is called, “My Three Bison.”

There’s something about the light in late summer. It's softer mornings, long golden evenings, and just enough quiet to feel reflective.

This time of year always makes me think differently about the art we live with.

What kind of atmosphere do you want your space to have as the season shifts?
