Who am I kidding - I’ll be telling everyone I meet 😂 by @madsontherun_

Today I ran a marathon 🏅 that’s 42.2km for anyone who didn’t know. The distance from Tweed to Helensvale…

I actually have no words. It was by far the hardest thing I’ve ever done and I’m so bloody proud I got it done. Definitely slower than I would have liked BUT I took 2 toilet breaks… and given my longest run of 28km was 5 weeks ago due to my shin splints I’m so grateful I made it to the start line and was able to finish within cut off times 🙏

Thank you to every single person who sent me a voice note, while
@runwithrally ran a little ahead of schedule it was sooooo nice to be supported at every km through this race and made the time go so much quicker! And everyone who added songs to my playlist you helped carry me through the pain!

Now I’ll be taking a bit of a much needed rest before I stupidly do it all over again in 11 weeks for @queenstownmarathon 🫠 by @madsontherun_

From the @the_performance_project_ straight to the @sydney_marathon expo! Lots of fun things to look at and memories to store.

October things 🌟 including lots of time spent at the gym, some pool sessions, a new type of coastal exercise, new home feels, puppy hangs by @madsontherun_

Just over here gathering wins 💪🏼

It’s been a tough 5 weeks of no running but I’ve learnt a lot about some new activities in the meantime which will likely change the way I train here on forward.

Grateful to my @the_performance_project_ community and coach @moore_mvmnt for keeping me focused and on target in this slower season! by @madsontherun_

🏠 Today I moved house… for the 5th time in 7 years, but this one felt a little different. It’s not because it’s the wrong choice, but because of what this lil’ home has meant to me.

It honestly feels just like just yesterday that I moved into my dream beachside home. 3 blocks from the beach, close to community and in the heart of the action. But if I think back to who I was back then and how I was feeling about my world, it also feels like a lifetime ago.

These four walls are where I fell back in love with my life. Where I carved out big scary goals (that I’ve smashed by the way), made a commitment to myself and where I learnt to slow down and breathe again.

But as they say all good things must come to an end. And as expansion goes I can’t deny that I’ve grown onwards to the next concrete castle and what that brings. I know that my new home will challenge me to continue to grow, and I’m sure it will come to mean as much to me as this one did.

I’m excited to give my boys a yard to wrestle in, some extra room to enjoy and proximity closer to the people and things I love, and reduce my daily travel time.

Nothing like being told you can’t do something for a lil while to make you realise how much it’s become part of your very being 🏃‍♀️
5 weeks to go… by @madsontherun_

A lot can change in 2 years… by @madsontherun_

I bought my boys a house (duplex)… with a yard and everything!

Deep respect for dog photographers as this was a mission 😂 by @madsontherun_

After almost a year of thinking about it I’m excited to announce that I’m now a coached athlete 🫢😮

Literally honestly like can’t believe I’m an “athlete” at all! Like who even is she!

Here’s to a future of hopefully better durability, slightly quicker paces and hopefully less recurrent injuries! Lesssss go!

Bridge 2 Brisbane 2026 - I almost didn’t take a finisher photo today. After what was hands down my worst race of the year, actually really ever, I have been feeling incredibly low and disappointed all day.

There were moments of today’s race that I felt zero confidence in my running ability. I felt sore, fatigued and unfit. And I questioned whether maybe my body just isn’t meant to be a runner, and why am I forcing it to do so. Like how did I run a marathon 2 weeks ago 😮

This event last year was my first time ever running 10km and I had really hoped to be posting a massive improvement on my time and chasing a PB. While I did run 9 mins faster than last year, it’s my worst 10km of 2026. And as we inch closer to the end of the year and only 1 more 10km race left, my sub 70min goal feels almost out of reach.

So many more things I could say, or blame it on but the list feels too long and it hardly seems beneficial at this point. I guess you win some you lose some, and there is always another race! Off to nurse my pride and my bloody knee 😅🫠 by @madsontherun_
