déjà vu? 🤔 a glove pattern so nice, I had to pick it up twice! (but upgraded) 😉 11.75 Rawlings Pro Preferred PROS17HBC wing-tip in that classic black and camel colorway. while the HoH version was stellar, it doesn’t compare to that sturdy, older, black Pro Preferred leather 💪🏼 huge shoutout to my man @gutgloves for letting me take this off his hands 😎🔥⚾️

wouldn’t be spring training without new pickups! first of this year is an 11.75 Rawlings HOH PRO1175-6JB. I’ve always loved wingtips and have hunted for this particular colorway for a while, let me know what you think of this classic 😎🔥⚾️

so I don’t think it’s much of a secret that I LOVE suede 🤩 and thanks to my growing appreciation for Japanese market gloves, a custom Asics allows me to make an entire glove out of it! this 12.25 Asics Gold Stage BOGKN3 is one of the many models Ohtani used in his NPB days as well as with the Angels before switching to New Balance. while his was completely red and only standard leather, mine is entirely comprised of black Nubuck (their fancy term for suede), and featured a sweet lighting bolt one piece web design, split grey welting, my last name on the thumb, and the Kanji spelling of “King” inside the palm. while I have been wanting a custom Asia’s for a few years now, I had to pull the trigger because (to my knowledge) as of September 2025, Asics is no longer offering customs, so this is one of the last few they will probably ever produce. I’m stoked with how this turned out, let me know what you guys think!

y’all know how much I love my DEPs 😎 NWT 11.5 Nike Diamond Elite Pro II Sample from 2012, and to my knowledge this is the first I’ve EVER seen with this exact colorway. I also love that it came with the tag from what I presume is the leather manufacturer showcasing the materials and date it was produced. I was under the impression that all DEPs were made from a tannery in Beaverton, Oregon (hence the stamp on the pinky) but it looks like this one was created overseas and possibly put together here in the states. massive thanks to @broomegloves for letting me snag this unique piece, another one for the DEP collection 🔥⚾️

an updated look at the entire leather collection, overstocked glove shelves with a couple college footballs at the end. I very much wish I was able to make my way down to @betterbaseball in Georgia for Glovefest this weekend, the FOMO of getting to meet a bunch of you and talk my favorite hobby is a bummer 🥲 I hope that everyone who goes has an awesome experience, and maybe I’ll be able to make it out to the next one!
