5 years ago today, I lost one of the greatest men in my life—my abuelo. Not a day goes by that I don’t miss him deeply. Sometimes I still catch myself wishing I could hear his voice, his laugh, or just sit with him one more time.

Grief doesn’t get easier with time, it just becomes part of you. But so does the love—and that love never leaves. I carry his wisdom, his strength, and his memory with me every single day.
