6 months post-op. by @madypostma

Almost 12 weeks after my ACL reconstruction surgery, and I’m honestly overwhelmed with gratitude. Looking back on these clips and seeing how far I have come since. This journey has challenged me in ways I never expected. I am so grateful God has gifted me with this chance to reset not only my athleticism, but my goals and values. He continues to give me clarity and show me how blessed I truly am.

This Thanksgiving, I am thankful for my club and school soccer coaches for keeping me involved and making sure I still feel like part of the team. And to my wrestling coach and teammates, for including me in every way possible.

My family has been everything throughout this journey. They keep me grounded in what I am capable of. Especially my dad. He’s been a huge part of my rehab, pushing me past my limits and believing in me even on the hardest days.

I am so blessed to have my friends and teammates love, encouragement, and constant support that has meant the world to me. Thank you for continuing to lift me up and being a light to my darkest days.

Finally, to the coaches who have stayed in touch recruitment-wise—thank you for believing in my future and continuing to check in. It motivates me more than you know.

Do not count me out. I am fully committed to this recovery and I am excited for what the future holds. I will be back, and stronger soon. Very soon... 🖤💪🏼 by @madypostma
