My 9 albums. This was NOT easy! I am still mourning the ones that didn’t make the cut- Tom Waits, Bruce Springsteen, U2, Nick Cave…and many more. And there’s one album that should have been here, but isn’t. More on that later in my stories.

I guess it’s time to properly introduce myself.
I’m Magda- music journalist, festival addict, storyteller and professional collector of moments.

This page is a mix of music industry insights, global events, artists to watch, travel, reinvention, self- development and everything inspiring in-between.

My biggest accreditation so far - MIDEM, Cannes.
After years of trying, I finally made it.
This week wasn’t about glamour.
It was about conversations, industry rooms and understanding how music careers are really built.
And yes — meeting Sharon Osbourne was one of those pinch-me moments.
Cannes gave me stories, contacts and clarity.
Now it’s time to turn them into work by @magdakalk

2026 is not over yet! 🥰

There are so many terms in the music industry that everyone uses but rarely explains.

So here are 5 you should know if you’re an artist or work in music.

Barcelona somehow always turns into a music stop for me.

Last time I was here, I discovered Rosalia’s La Perla. This time, Case de la Musica pulled me right back in- as always.

And then there’s Primavera Sound - have you seen the 2027 line up?!

Technically, I came for medical tests but you can’t expect me to leave Barca without Casa de la Musica…or El Corte Ingles ;) by @magdakalk

My vinyl fair finds 🖤 Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath and a few records I definitely didn’t need but wanted anyway…

There’s something special about discovering music without knowing what you’re looking for. What’s the best record you’ve ever found?

Kilka kadrów z ostatniego koncertu Przemysława Kupidury w Chopin Salon.

To wyjątkowe wydarzenie związane z premierą albumu Scènes Revisitées.

Kolejna okazja, by usłyszeć tę muzykę na żywo, już 10.10. Zdecydowanie warto!

🇬🇧 English below.

A glimpse of Przemyslaw Kupidura’s recent concert at Chopin Salon.

A series of special live performances celebrating the release of Scènes Revisitées.

The next concert is on October 10th. Definitely worth experiencing live - if you’re in Poland, that is. Don’t miss it!

LIVE TALK: Gdzie boli najbardziej? Artysta vs. booking😎

❓Gdzie boli najbardziej?
❓Przekonajmy się o tym razem na żywo?

KTO WYSTĄPI:

❗️Piotr Love Machine — Singer & Composer.

❗️Magda Kalk — Host & Journalist.

GDZIE OGLĄDAĆ: Na naszych profilach @ARTGO_ART_OFFICIAL i @MAGINMUSIC (TikTok)
