Thinking about the sweetest, most beautiful bridal shower my mom threw for me at my childhood house. very full circle moment standing under the massive oak tree in the backyard that’s seen so many of my life’s moments - graduation, birthdays, and now my bridal shower. Couldn’t have asked for a better summer day in Northern California and I’m so thankful for everyone who came 💗 taken in Martinez, California by @maggie.outside

Best wedding, best couple, best weekend ever 👏👏 still processing how incredible of a time we had in Australia celebrating @erepp and @_timgraham. It’s insane to watch your best friend of nearly 30 years get married and I feel so lucky to have been apart of the day. Erin and Tim are the definition of love and every single part of their wedding reflected that. Love that we had the best “BONUS FUN” day together before we flew home. I’ll always travel 28 hours to see you guys 🤣 taken in Manly beach by @maggie.outside

Middle Earth did not disappoint 🇳🇿 over 6 days we hiked over some of the most insane, beautiful and rugged terrain from Lake Tekapo to Wanaka. From 75mph wind gusts, almost daily rain and more river crossings than I can count, our time on the Te Araroa trail was definitely memorable lol some highlights include the top of breast hill over Lake Hawea and Wanaka, snow on Martha’s Saddle and hiding in the tin hut during an especially bad rain storm. Patrick sometime said the TA was like the ruggedness of the CDT mixed with the steepness of the AT in New England lol an especially intense day traversed 15 miles, 5500 + ft of climbing, dozens of river crossings and hiking sideways on an eroded trail. Sometimes we’d loose the trail and really all we had to do was just look up and we’d see a blaze high above you on a tree. Our original plan was to continue hiking from Wanaka to Queenstown but the weather was going to be cold, windy and potentially snowy. Sounds great when you’ll be 6000+ft in the mountains on high exposed ridge lines. Instead we rented a camper van and were able to explore more of the South Island taken in Aotearoa New Zealand by @maggie.outside

Once again it’s the season of the leaves in New England. It’s crazy to think we have been in New England for over a year now and in Maine for almost 11 months. Fall is such a special time here and as Patrick says “it’s legendary”. The past few weeks we have been all over northern New England, visiting friends in Vermont and camping in both New Hampshire and Maine. We were able to sunrise hike Cadillac Mountain in Acadia National Park, which is the first place in the US you can see the sunrise from Oct 7 to March 6 🍁🍁🍁 taken in Maine by @maggie.outside
