khanevadeh (meaning “family” in farsi).

This project has been in the works for the past year, and I’m beyond excited to finally share it. As an Iranian-American living in a world ridden by conflict, this series was a way for me to dive into identity, perception, family, and connection between two cultures that are constantly portrayed as conflicting with one another in today's climate.

Through black & white imagery, reflections, portraits, self-portraiture, and moments of spiritual absence, I wanted to create something personal while still leaving room for others to see themselves within the work.

Thank you to everyone who supported this process.

Full collection now live at MaghamiMedia.com.
