The Disney | Bobby Kim collection has taken the internet by storm with their first release coming out next weekend at D23!

Is this a reprint? Of sorts. Immediately recognizable as different from the 1990 long sleeve though, it sets it apart. Disney has been reprinting classic and popular designs for decades, but now we have someone tweaking them enough to not cheapen the original, and selecting the less known designs (of the non-vintage obsessed) and putting them in the spotlight.

Am I hoping for new designs in the future? Of course. Had this been a carbon copy, I wouldn’t be stoked to add it into my collection. However, I’m personally falling in the category of it’s been changed enough that it feels thought out and intentional.

As a long time, over a decade, Fantasia collector, I’m glad to add this to my collection. I can’t wait to see what’s to come.
