The only thing that matters right now is that my most anticipated read is FINALLY HERE! 🌙✨

Currently on Do Not Disturb because my TBR is officially on hold. Something very important has come up.

I love this series so much, and I’m beyond excited to jump back into the world of Prythian and Velaris. There’s no such thing as being normal about this series, and I’m not even going to pretend otherwise.

💭 Thoughts:
Devoted Dastard is a quick read about a soccer team captain and a one-night stand that leads to an unexpected pregnancy. I finished this one in a day! The pacing was fast, and it was an easy book to fly through. However, I did feel like the characters fell in love pretty quickly, and the pregnancy journey was glossed over a bit more than I would have liked.

Overall, it was a fun read, and the way the book ended has me thinking we might see more of these characters in the next books in the series! by @magicalreadsbyalyssa

🎄Christmas Staycation 🎄

💭 Thoughts:
A classic Meghan Quinn chaotic holiday romance! I had a great time listening to and reading this one at the same time with an immersive read. However, for some reason, the story just didn’t click with me the way the other Kringle Town books have.

I think it was the fact that the ex-fiancé, the brother, and the girl were ALL living under the same roof. It was a little too chaotic for me at times! That being said, I still had a great time with this one and found myself laughing at quite a few parts. Sometimes you just need a messy holiday romance to keep things interesting!

💬 Question: What’s your favorite holiday romance trope? 🎄

🎄Christmas Staycation 🎄
TROPES:
❄️Christmas Small Town
❄️Fake Relationship
❄️He Fell First and harder
❄️Ex-fiancé’s Brother
❄️Spicy Time With A Holiday Treat
❄️Opposites Attract
❄️Forced Proximity

🎄Christmas Staycation 🎄 BLURB:
Nothing says Merry Christmas like fake fiancés, family pressure, and falling for your ex’s brother.

Major league baseball player Nolan has a filthy mouth, a massive ego, and zero interest in behaving. Taran, meanwhile, is polished, careful, and so committed to keeping the peace that she’s agreed to a fake wedding with her ex to save her family’s holiday.

There’s just one problem: her ex is Nolan’s brother—and Nolan sees right through her. He knows Taran deserves better than pretending her way through life. And he’d really like “better” to be him.
As family expectations, holiday chaos, and secrets snowball, Taran must decide whether to keep playing along—or let this fake engagement blow up spectacularly. Either way, someone’s ending up on the naughty list. by @magicalreadsbyalyssa

Off the Reservation - Stephen Graham Jones

So excited to read this story because I absolutely love Stephen Graham Jones! 👻 Off the Reservation takes us on a road trip and asks the question: What would you do if one of the people you were traveling with started getting possessed? 😳

And YES! Just like many horror writers, he brought out the stamp!

💬 Question: What would be on your road trip playlist? 🎶

C. R. JANE 🤠🖤

Dark romance extraordinaire, from hockey, mafia, football, and rockstar romance to romantasy, AND NOW COWBOYS!!! 🤠🔥

Such a special event with an author I genuinely enjoy! I love how C. R. Jane brings the perfect mix of darkness and humor to her books. As she put it, she writes “morally gray golden retrievers” and honestly, what more could you ask for?! 😂🖤

The event took place at Barnes & Noble at the Americana, and I loved seeing @niksnextchapter talk all things C. R. Jane! It was such a fun evening celebrating her books and her newest cowboy romance era. 🤠📚

💬 Question: Have you read a C. R. Jane book yet? And are we ready for the morally gray cowboys?! 👀
